How can you keep your child safe on the internet?

Keep your child safe online by defining family-friendly DNS server settings for the child's user account on the computer. Define different DNS settings for each user account on the PCs. When a user logs in, the defined DNS settings will be used. In order to protect your children from inappropriate content, you can define family-friendly DNS settings for their accounts. This is useful when using a shared computer with multiple accounts. When you log in, you will use non-filtered DNS settings. When your children log in, filtered DNS settings will be used automatically without affecting your usage.

How can different DNS settings be defined for each user on Windows?

1. Step:
Start Smart DNS Changer and select the kid shield tab.


2. Step:
Choose a user from the Select User.


3. Step:
Choose a DNS from the Choose a DNS Server for selected User above drop-down menu. for kids choose Filtered DNS (family Friendly) DNS settings. The most strict Filtered DNSes are Norton DNS3 and Norton ConnectSafe. for administrator accounts you can choose any DNS settings (filtered or non-filtered one).


As you can see in the snapshot below, we can define different DNS settings for each user.
We have defined a DNS setting for each user. When a user logs on, the system automatically changes the defined DNS settings for the logged-on user.
